Cinemeccanica signs the technology for Italy’s first “Boutique Cinema”: FCE Majestic opens in Rome The historical leader in cinema theater technologies oversaw the engineering design and supply of the 4K RGB laser projection systems and Dolby Atmos audio for the Capital’s exclusive facility. Cinemeccanica SpA, an international benchmark for the cinema exhibition industry, served as the technological partner for the realization of the FCE Majestic cinema in Rome, the first true example of a “Boutique Cinema” in Italy. Located in the heart of the historic center, the venue introduces an innovative entertainment concept where ultimate comfort and premium hospitality merge with the most advanced audio-video technologies on the market. The FCE Majestic redefines the theater experience by transforming into a 360-degree cultural and entertainment space. Audiences can enjoy premium hospitality before, during, and after the screening, with high-end bar and catering services directly integrated into the movie-going experience. To support this exclusive vision, Cinemeccanica handled the engineering design and supply of the systems for the facility’s two auditoriums (seating 36 and 42 people, respectively), focusing on an uncompromising technical configuration: Christie CP4415-RGB 4K Laser Projectors (VDR ready): they guarantee images with absolute sharpness, brilliant colors, and unprecedented contrast. Dolby Atmos Sound Systems: they ensure multidimensional and fully immersive audio, capable of perfectly enveloping the viewer despite the intimate geometry of the rooms. With this project, Cinemeccanica confirms its position as the partner of choice for the most ambitious and innovative cinema projects, demonstrating how precise technological choices are fundamental for new premium and luxury entertainment formats.
